Feed in sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Feed the prescribed dose in early spring and fall with new colonies or previously untreated ones. Nosema is a disease that is not necessarily apparent to the eye. It does significantly reduce the life span of your bees resulting in poorer overwintering and a large reduction in your honey crop. A half gram is sufficient for about 6 colonies given one treatment. Store unused portion in its original container in the freezer. Completely dissolve the powder in warm water and shake well, then add to syrup. Only mix what you need.
