This is a plastic frame with drone comb plastic foundation. Use it in the same way as other drone comb foundations to control Varroa mites. The frame and foundation is green so you can easily identify it in your hive. Remove sealed drone brood from hive and freeze or just scrape off with your hive tool and reinsert. This product will not eliminate Varroa mites but will surely help in keeping their population down.
