Beeswax Production, Harvesting, Processing, and Products

            During the past century hundreds of books have been written about honey bees, but those exclusively or especially about beeswax can be counted on the fingers with several digits left over.

            There have been many good scientific and popular publications of various aspects of beeswax processing and use in scientific and beekeeping journals. Unfortunately, because of trade secrecy by manufacturers of comb foundation and candles, and by other commercial beeswax users, many interesting facts about beeswax have never reached the public. In this book, we have attempted to remove the mystery and explain how to work with beeswax.
